Sue graduated from Bradford University and completed her training at The Radcliffe Infirmary, Oxford. Following that, she opened three practices of her own in the North of England, before then moving south a few years ago to be nearer family. She is currently enjoying working part time at Leightons. Sue has a particular interest in working with patients who have dry eye problems. Outside work, she enjoys playing Bridge and golf.
Anthea has a great depth of experience in Optometry. After graduating from Cardiff University with a First Class degree, she has spent many years working in hospitals across the UK. She still works one day a week at Bournemouth Hospital alongside her work at Leightons Southampton, having joined the branch in 2014. She has particular interest in paediatric work, as well as vast experience in complex contact lens fittings and eye health problems. Outside work, Anthea enjoys travel and walking, and also coordinates the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme in Romsey.
I took my son into the branch to collect his first pair of glasses. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They took their time and didn't rush us despite running past closing time.
