Amanda Deveney (BSc RHAD)

Audiologist

After graduating with a degree in Audiology from the University of Southampton in 2015, Amanda spent three years working as a Clinical Audiologist for the NHS. During this time, Amanda gained valuable clinical expertise and patient-focused experience while working in adult rehabilitation, tinnitus therapy and assisting the ENT department.

“As I was born with a hearing impairment, I experienced the benefits of personalised hearing care first-hand. It is the importance of continuity of care that led me to Leightons. Working with Leightons is enjoyable because I have the time to ensure all my patient’s needs are met to the best of my ability. I also have the opportunity to work with and offer a wide variety of top-end hearing aid technology, as well as providing continued aftercare and support.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing netball competitively for two district teams, as well as walking my two dogs. I also have a passion for travelling and have been lucky enough to have visited Asia and Australia.”
