A unique blend of specialist optical and hearing roles working together as a unified team to deliver clinical excellence across our 34 stores. They are there when the business is in need, be it from elevating our already high standards through various projects or providing that essential cover for our branches when we really need it.

Core responsibilities for the Optical & Hearing Assistant can be split into the Three C’s;
Our OHA’s are the first person to greet our customers as they enter our store and set the tone for their visit. It is imperative that the OHA has excellent customer service skills with an ability to interact with a diverse range of personalities and backgrounds, adapting these skills to a wide range of scenarios.
OHA’s aren’t restricted to front of house duties. We believe it’s imperative for our OHA’s to become fully immersed within the world of optics, meaning that OHA’s take full charge of our ‘pre-screening’ process, focused on performing retinal imaging and OCT examinations.
We stock a wide range of frames and accessories, allowing us to ensure our customers are free to browse the best frames in the market until they locate exactly what they want. As an OHA, you may have to provide consultative advice to these customers regarding the variations between different frames, advising on price, frame composition and brand information.
Pulse provides the ultimate level of adventure within the optical and hearing industries. We want to harness your experience to deliver improvements to our business in our constant effort to continually offer outstanding patient care. With all travel requirements being completely reimbursed by the business including the supply of a company car. For requirements that require lengthy levels of travel over multiple dates, we will further support you with accommodation during the length of your project.
