Rachel Kidd

Audiologist

Rachel is a Clinical Scientist in Audiology and a skilled Hearing Aid Dispenser with a PhD and MSc qualifications. Her journey includes groundbreaking research at the University of Southampton on age-related hearing loss and developing a point-of-care test for risk identification. With two master's degrees in Chemistry and Clinical Science, Rachel has excelled as a clinical lead in paediatric Audiology, winning awards for presentations at various conferences.

Joining Leightons, Rachel aims to provide exceptional patient-centred care in a holistic setting, utilising her expertise to assist individuals with their auditory needs. She thrives on meeting new people, learning their stories, and delivering top-quality care with access to cutting-edge technology.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys family woodland walks, cooking hearty roast dinners, immersing herself in music (both playing and listening), and attending theatre performances and concerts. Her passion for connecting with people and making a difference shines through in all aspects of her life.
