Meet Sam, our Branch Manager at Leightons Basingstoke. With a Dispensing Optician FBDO qualification under her belt, Sam has an impressive background in nurturing teams, supporting patients with their visual needs, and advocating for eye health awareness.
Her passion for patient care and community shines through in everything she does. Sam chose to work with us at Leightons because of our unwavering commitment to excellent patient care, continuous support and training for personal and team growth, and our family-oriented company ethos.
In her role, Sam takes great joy in supporting patients, leading her team towards success, and working closely with the community. She aims to develop her team to the point of being awarded Practice of the Year, with the support of our fantastic Head Office team.
Outside of work, Sam is a dedicated leader of a Rainbow and Brownies unit, runs a monthly Macular Support Group in Winchester, enjoys playing the flute, piano, reading, and indulging her love for theatre, history, and staying fit through running.
