Free for eligible patients, our NHS Eye Test takes around 30 minutes and checks vision and eye health to detect potential issues early. Optional OCT or Optomap scans provide enhanced detail and are available at an additional cost.

Our Enhanced Eye Test: a 40-minute exam with either OCT or Optomap imaging, plus checks of vision, prescription, eye muscles and overall eye health. Track tiny changes over time. For both scans and the fullest picture, choose the Ultimate Eye Test.

Get our most complete care with the Ultimate Eye Test, around 45 minutes. It includes both Optomap and OCT for detailed 2D and 3D views, plus checks of vision, prescription, eye muscles and overall eye health. Included in MyLeightons Care Plans.

Children’s Eye Tests are free with the NHS. We keep visits friendly and reassuring while checking vision and eye health, so problems are picked up early. Book regular tests from preschool onwards to support learning, confidence and healthy development.

A contact lens appointment focuses on fit, comfort and eye health. New to lenses? We teach safe wear and care after fitting. Already wearing? We review your vision and refine the fit, with planned follow-ups to keep everything clear and comfortable.

Our Dry Eye Assessment looks at your symptoms, tear quality and eyelid health using targeted tests. We identify the type and severity of dry eye and develop a personalised management plan to significantly improve the clinical signs of the conditions.

Urgent eye problem? We’ll triage your symptoms and arrange an optometrist appointment within 72 hours, or refer to eye casualty at your local hospital if needed. Please call us during opening hours; outside these times, contact NHS 111 for guidance and support.
