Unlike some brands, Tomato glasses have a very unique story behind their creation which all started when founder Sunjoom Kim noticed his son’s eyesight deteriorating at the age of two. After numerous trips to the ophthalmologist, a less-than-ideal solution for his son was found, but that included wearing thick lenses in a heavy metal frame which kept falling off his face.
With much resistance to wear the frames and his son’s condition worsening, Sunjoom was compelled to design and create his own glasses that his son could wear them comfortably! This idea sparked the beginning of Tomato Glasses.
Tomato Glasses are now proud to have created a brand which caters for all small children, particularly those with a flatter bridge. Their collection comes in a great range of shapes and styles and is as bold and colourful as our youngsters who wear them!
