Ann holds a BSc MCOptom qualification, having graduated with first-class honours from Manchester University in 2022. She also obtained additional accreditations in MECS (Minor Eye Conditions Service) and pre- and post-cataract assessments. Driven by a commitment to continuous improvement, Ann wants to pursue further education, aiming to complete Level 1 Glaucoma training and begin the Independent Prescribing qualification.

Choosing to work for Leightons, Ann was attracted to the patient-centred environment and the close-knit team dynamic. She appreciates the highly clinical nature of the workplace, where patient involvement in decision-making is prioritised. Moreover, Leightons' culture of encouragement for personal and professional growth resonated with her career aspirations.

Outside of work, she enjoys indulging her creativity through decorating and renovating projects.
