Free upgrade to our Ultimate Eye Test

1. Leightons Opticians & Hearing Care is offering eligible new optical patients the opportunity to upgrade to an Ultimate Eye Test under this offer.

2. Eligible NHS sight test patients will receive the Ultimate Eye Test upgrade at no additional cost. Eligible private patients will receive the Ultimate Eye Test for £39, which is the standard fee ordinarily charged for a private eye test. 

3. A new patient is defined as an individual who has not previously attended any Leightons Opticians & Hearing Care branch for an eye test. 

4. Previous hearing care appointments alone do not affect eligibility. 

5. Leightons Opticians & Hearing Care reserves the right to verify patient status through its patient records system. 

6. The offer is available to patients aged 18 years or over only. 

7. The upgrade includes: 

• A 15-minute pre-screening appointment including advanced diagnostic imaging: OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) and Optomap retinal imaging. 
• A 30-minute eye examination with a qualified optometrist, including interpretation and discussion of imaging results. 
• The above imaging is included where clinically appropriate and equipment is available. Equipment availability may vary due to maintenance or technical issues. 

8. The offer is available for eligible appointments booked up until Sunday 6th September 2026 inclusive. 

9. Appointments must take place by Sunday 6th September 2026 inclusive, subject to availability.  

10. The offer: 

• Is available only at the following participating Leightons Opticians & Hearing Care branches: Addlestone, Alton, Andover, Basingstoke, Bishops Stortford, Burnham-on-Sea, Camberley, Chandlers Ford, Christchurch, Cirencester, Cobham, Epsom, Farnham, Fleet, Haslemere, Haywards Heath, Hempstead Valley, Leadenhall Street, Lewes, Marlow, Petersfield, Poole, Putney, Reading, Southampton, Sutton, Swindon, Thatcham, Tunbridge Wells, Winchester, Windsor and Woodley. 
• You cannot use this offer in conjunction with any other eye test discount, voucher, promotion or special offer unless expressly stated. 
• Has no cash alternative.
• Is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for another service. 
• Does not include any additional clinical investigations, treatments, referrals, spectacles, contact lenses or products that may be recommended following the examination. 
• Is limited to one promotional Ultimate Eye Test per eligible patient during the promotional period.
• Cannot be applied retrospectively to appointments already booked or completed. 

11. Failure to attend a booked appointment may result in the promotional offer being withdrawn. Standard branch cancellation and missed appointment policies continue to apply. 

12. All clinical examinations and recommendations remain at the sole discretion of the examining optometrist. 

13. Participation in this offer does not guarantee any particular clinical outcome, diagnosis or prescription. 

14. The optometrist may determine that additional investigations or appointments are clinically necessary, which may incur additional charges where applicable. 

15. Leightons Opticians & Hearing Care reserves the right to amend, withdraw or extend this promotion without prior notice. 

16. By booking and attending the appointment, patients agree to these Terms & Conditions. Leightons Opticians & Hearing Care reserves the right to refuse the offer where eligibility criteria are not met or where misuse of the promotion is suspected.
