Leightons Fareham: Parking Update

After over 50 years of Osborn road multi-story car-park the council have taken the hard decision to close and demolish the car park.

A lot of things have changed to cars and how we use them in the last 50 years. The new surface car park, which will replace the old multi-story car-park, will reflect this with larger parking spaces and more electric charging points. Read more about the new car park.

Where to park in Fareham town centre?

Fear not, Fareham, Has many alternative car parks, Some are long stay and will require a short 10-minute walk in but are at a cheaper rate.

Fareham Council surface car parks are pay-and-display. To park, enter your registration, then either insert cash for the desired duration or use the buttons to select the time on the screen. Alternatively, Tesco offers free parking if you spend £5 in the store. They also have electric charge points for those that need to charge up while shopping.
